Check out the Latest from Ruth on Instagram ! Ruth Harper has been a staple at Roche for the past 13 years. She is truly a long hair expert in both cutting and coloring. She has lots of 'Victoria's Secret hair' clients and loves trendy, as well as classic, men's hairdressing. She is also one of the top experts on Yuko-Japanese straightening technique on the east coast. Ruth has been known to transform dull, broken, damaged hair into long healthy locks with her 'healthy hair treatment plans' and clients love her versatile blend of talents.

Check out the Latest from Helen on Instagram! Helen was born in London, England and has been a stylist for 30 years. She came to America over 25 years ago as Director of Education for Graham Webb International where she traveled throughout the country teaching and sharing her knowledge with other stylists. She eventually settled in Washington, DC and joined the Roche team over 20 years ago. She loves working with clients to find the best look for them and making them happy. She holds a Masters Degree in the arts and uses this to provide a creative eye in her work. She enjoys working on all types on hair, but her passion is working with individuals with short hair where she can use her experience and artistry to create a true masterpiece. Her clients can feel comfortable that they will get the latest trends with great service.

She attended cosmetology school part time while working for the U.S. Air Force as an office administrator. After having her third child she decided to leave the government to pursue her passion for the art of hair coloring. She joined Roche Salon in 1988, as an assistant to Dennis Roche, embarking on what has evolved into a 25+ year career with us. Annette understands that having great hair color is important to looking good and feeling beautiful. She masters color and utilizes different techniques to deliver an amazing end result to her clients. A true testament to her craft, she was mentioned in the September 2008 issue of Allure magazine.

Wantanee is a graduate of the Graham Webb Academy and has been with Roche Salon since 2009 where she previously trained as Dennis Roche's exclusive apprentice. Wantanee's passion for hair keeps her up to date on the latest trends and enjoys working with a wide range of color. Wantanee excels at creating soft, natural color that compliments her client's skin tone and personality. Whether it's a classic haircut, sunkissed highlights or a glamorous blowdry, Wantanee's innate sense of style and her sharp eye for detail yields beautiful results for her clients. Wantanee is also experienced in Brazilian Keratin Treatments and hair straightening.

He has been with Roche Salon for 20 years and built up a very loyal clientele in the area. He specializes in highlights, precision cutting, and enjoys consulting with clients before working with them to ensure they get the the look they desire. He stays current and up to date with the latest trends, so he can provide clients the option of something new. Prior to joining Roche, he worked at Bruno Dessange in Washington, DC and Peter Coppola in New York.

Her core training was in London, UK with over 25 years in the business, 10 years of which were as a platform stylist/educator performing on stage instruction in venues across Europe, U.S, and Japan. Her style is a commercial, wearable looks that compliment her loyal clientele's lifestyles. She says, "Social media enables our clientele to be exposed to new techniques and products all the time and it can be a challenge to understand it all. I like to help them navigate their way through and discuss all the options possible to achieve optimum results." When not in the salon, Sarah can be found riding her bike around the Virginia countryside with her biking group.

Seda's focus is to create hair that enhances your natural beauty utilizing a wide range of textures and different techniques, allowing her to be very creative. She has eye for detail and a very warm personality. The two have always been a good combo for her and her devoted clientele. She has been in the salon industry for as long as she can remember with two older sisters that did hair and a mother that loved it. She moved to Washington, DC in 2005 from Charlotte, NC where I worked and trained under Aveda as well as Vidal Sassoon Academy and Dessange. She has always surrounded herself with amazing stylists to stay inspired.

Check out the Latest from Marco on Instagram! Marco Ferrari is a Master Stylist from Milan, Italy and has been part of the Roche Salon family for the past 13 years. He attended beauty school in Milan and left Europe's fashion capital for London to further his education in cosmetology at The Vidal Sassoon Academy. Marco started his career as a stylists working at Tony and Guy in London. After living in Italy and London, he moved to the U.S. 15 years ago. He has a very loyal and large clientele thanks to his high attention to detail and impressive skill set. Marco specializes in razor/precision cutting, trendy men's cuts, as well as detailed highlighting, BKT, Keratin, and Balayage techniques. Marco had the honor of working New York Fashion Week 2017 beside the Odile Gilbert!

He has been trained by some of the best, including Vidal Sassoon, TIGI, L'Oreal Professional, Wella, Trevor Sorbie and Kuene.  Dennis is honored to have been featured in Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair, and Vogue magazines over the years.

Esthetician

Swan Tran has been massage therapist for the past 15 years after graduating from The Potomac Massage Institute in the field of Therapeutic Massage and Body Work. She developed an interest in body massage therapy after she graduated from college from her home country Vietnam where she was a teacher. Swan offers a variety of massage treatments and is extremely skilled in the Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Stone massage modalities. She joined Roche Salon in 2007 and expended her knowledge and techniques by completing her esthetician certification. She also graduated from the Yonka Paris Institute and is well versed in the use of their products and beauty treatments combining pleasure and freshness to a renewed sense of well being. Swan tailors her techniques to exact needs of her clients. She enjoys the personal contact and personalized care she provides to others while caring for their well being.

Manicurists

Bao has been with Roche Salon as a nail technician for 13 years. She started with us at our location that was in Sports Club LA on 24th and M Street and now she is at our Washington Harbour location. Bao uses a gentle, relaxing touch with her clients and does exquisite work. She specializes in both regular and gel manicures as well as pedicures. Bao has a gift of working well with clients who have special needs or expectations.

Makeup Artist

Marta Bota is a Professional Makeup Artist with over 25 years of experience. Her areas of expertise are in television makeup, special event and red carpet makeup application, bridal beauty, and more!  Marta started her career in the fashion industry in New York City and has worked for over 20 years in the television industry! As our resident makeup artist at Roche Salon she offers makeup application for any of your special occasions, portraits, photo shoots, bridal makeup, and makeup lessons!  Some of the organizations she has worked for are CNN, FOX News Channel, CNBC, MSNBC, WRCW TV, NBC, HBO. Some of her celebrity clients include Anna Kendrick, Jerry Seinfeld, Whoopi Goldberg, to name a few! Marta Bota holds the title of Ms. Virginia America 2016. She is a philanthropist and is actively involved with many charitable organizations! Marta received the Presidential Gold Medal for volunteerism at the Ms America 2016 Pageant!
